Following the free provision of the Ukrainian-language version of Play Smart to displaced children in Ukraine who had fled to Japan, the programme was also provided outside Japan to local children in evacuation centres and kindergartens receiving displaced children, in cooperation with the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine, the Embassy of Japan in Poland, the Embassy of Japan in Romania and JETRO Warsaw Office through the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The children were provided free of charge to displaced children in evacuation centres and kindergartens hosting displaced children. The official website of the Embassy of Japan in Romania reports that "preschool children need a lot of support and it is hoped that these educational materials will be useful for their education".
